Pentecost Equips for Discipleship:

The purpose of Pentecost (and the Holy Spirit) is to make you a disciple capable of:

1) Defying Satan's Messengers: Learning to be defiant in the face of spiritual opposition (like Paul's "thorn," 2 Cor 12:7).

2) Overcoming "Your Galilee": Getting unstuck from personal limitations, past failures, negative perceptions from others, and places of previous judgment (referencing Matt 13:54).

3) Serving with Delegated Authority: Living and serving not through self-effort but by submitting to the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18)
