ancient texts, listen to compelling sermons, and perhaps even conduct a few theological

Topic: Defining the nature of true, saving knowledge of God. After identifying the dangers of idolatry and dead orthodoxy (Lesson 3), this lesson establishes the biblical ideal. True knowledge is not merely the accumulation of correct data about God, nor is it a contentless emotional experience. It is a dynamic, relational synthesis where biblical truth about God (the mind) fuels heartfelt love for God (the affections), resulting in a transformed, obedient life (the will).

As we concluded in our final session, we are no longer approaching an "Unknown God". The fog has lifted. We know how He speaks, we know what He demands, and we know who He is to us—our Shield and our very great Reward.
