CAN GOD'S GLORY BE VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE?
Have you noticed how the presence of Jesus seems to beautify people's lives? Conversely, when we live in shameful practices, our lives reflect darkness rather than beauty.
When Moses descended from Mount Sinai after his second 40-day fast, his face physically shone with God's glory (Exodus 34:29–35). Though Moses attempted humility by veiling his face, the evidence of God's presence could not be hidden.
In the same way, when we draw near to God in sincere humility, the fragrance of Christ becomes unmistakably evident to others:
2 Corinthians 2:15 (NIV)
"For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing."
On the other hand, a performance-based spirituality may temporarily mask inner disobedience, but it won't remain hidden forever. Eventually, our true character is revealed:
1 Timothy 5:24 (NIV)
"The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them."
During this time of fasting, seek genuine intimacy with God, letting His glory authentically transform your life from the inside out.
