THE LOSS OF NEED AWARENESS

God created us to need Him. That need is not a weakness—it is very good. Even the Creator exists in community (Father, Son, Spirit), not in isolated independence. He designed us to be whole only when we live in close union with Him.

David understood this. He said, “But as for me, I am poor and needy” (Psalm 70:5). His heart was empty and dark unless God filled it.

Ps 70 Need Awareness Is Humility

Our greatest issue is not that we are needy—it’s that we forget we are.

·       Emptiness is not the problem—unawareness of our emptiness is.

·       Darkness is not the issue—ignoring the Light that wants to fill us is.

Let us be like David—humble, aware, and desperate for God. That awareness is the first step to fullness.
